Unzip the file

You get LamsaGuard_Free.ex5 for MetaTrader 5 and LamsaGuard_Free.ex4 for MetaTrader 4.

Copy it into MetaTrader

In MetaTrader click File > Open Data Folder, then open MQL5 > Experts (MetaTrader 4: MQL4 > Experts) and paste the file there.

Attach it to ONE chart

In the Navigator, right-click Expert Advisors > Refresh. Drag LamsaGuard_Free onto one chart (any symbol) and turn on Algo Trading (MetaTrader 4: AutoTrading). Tick "Allow Algo Trading" (MetaTrader 4: "Allow live trading") in the window that opens.

Type your limits

In the Inputs tab set your daily loss limit, max drawdown and drawdown type, then press OK. Personal account, not a prop challenge? Set Prop firm account to false, so the profit target does not stop you. The LamsaGuard panel appears at the bottom-left of the chart - you are protected.

One chart is enough: LamsaGuard protects the whole account, every symbol. Keep MetaTrader open while you trade. Stuck? See the help center or write to [email protected].
